Northern Lakes CMH
Infant Mental Health Specialists

Northern Lakes CMH seeks contractual and employee IMH specialists to provide Home-Based intervention services to infants, toddlers and families. Includes infant mental health assessment and intervention. Provides intensive services to children and their families with multiple service needs. Treatment based on the child's needs. Family unit is the focus. Provides IMH case consultation to other community agencies. Facilitates parent-infant groups and parenting groups. Intervention focused on promoting healthy infant/parent relationships. Masters degree in social work, psychology, early childhood education or nursing. IMH training; Certificate Program in Infant Mental Health or equivalent completed or in process. Michigan license to practice as a fully licensed professional (Master level or greater) preferred; limited license considered. Candidates with educational qualifications and early childhood experience who are willing to obtain specialized Infant Mental Health training will be considered. T wo years experience of relevant work with multi-problem families. Demonstrated knowledge of normal and aberrant infant development, childcare and family dynamics. Professional experience with high-risk infants/toddlers and families preferred. Professional experience providing services, primarily in-home, to varied infant-family population desired.

The Board of Directors of the Michigan 4C (Community Coordinated Child Care) Association is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director.

The mission of the Michigan 4C Association is to foster children's success and development through service to the early childhood care and education community. The Association includes 16 regional 4C offices which provide services to parents and the early childhood care and education community in all counties in Michigan . The mission is accomplished through child care provider professional development and child care referral services for families, as well as through collaborative initiatives with other organizations working on behalf of children on matters that affect the child care system.
